Workshops Atelier 13a.
Artists Ane Bernhoft and Pernille Enoch, the founders of Atelier 13a, will guide you through four art workshops inspired by the local workshops we visit during the journey in November 2026.
Both beginners and experienced participants are very welcome, and everyone will receive individual guidance.

Everything is done by hand using natural plant dyes. We will experience the entire process, printing our own scarves and creating a personal textile artwork.

Cyanotype is a photographic printing technique in which we create beautiful images using sunlight. Working with objects and transparencies, we will make unique blue prints on paper and experiment with light, form and nature’s own shadows.

We work with artistic collage, using materials such as newspapers, paper scraps, fabric and found objects to create personal artworks with character, texture and narrative.

Throughout the journey, there will be a range of photography assignments and workshops.

For the journey in November 2026, I have created an inspiring and creative experience in collaboration with Atelier 13a. Through art workshops, we create space for creativity and presence, with a focus on process, technique, immersion and the creation of small, personal works.
We travel through Rajasthan, where the state capital, Jaipur, has been designated a World Craft City and is renowned for world-class craftsmanship.
The journey has been created around meaningful encounters with local partners, small family-run businesses and women’s cooperatives.
We always travel together in small groups, creating the setting for personal and truly unique experiences. The journey lasts 12 days, from 14–25 November 2026.

The journey costs DKK 23,500, plus DKK 2,400 for the workshops. Everything is included, except international flights. You can find all the details in our FAQ.

The journey begins in Delhi on Sunday, 15 November at 7:00 am.
The journey ends in Delhi on Wednesday, 25 November at 7:00 am.
Finnair:
Copenhagen–Delhi: Saturday, 14 November at 1:00 pm, arriving in Delhi at 6:05 am.
Delhi–Copenhagen: Wednesday, 25 November at 7:50 am, arriving in Copenhagen at either 4:30 pm or 6:35 pm.
Several airlines fly to Delhi, including Air India, which offers direct flights.
We often book the same flights within the group, and I always share the details of the flights I book myself.
Should you wish to arrive earlier or stay longer, I am happy to recommend hotels and other arrangements.

Sofie joins every journey, and you will become part of a welcoming travel community. We travel together in our own private minibus and share dinner every evening.
On this journey, Pernille Enoch and Ane Bernhoft will also join us as the artistic and creative hosts.

Atelier 13a
Atelier 13a was founded by artists Ane Bernhoft and Pernille Enoch - two passionate creatives with a shared vision of making art and the creative process accessible to everyone. They run their welcoming studio in Frederiksberg, where they host inspiring art workshops in techniques including collage, printmaking and cyanotype.
At Atelier 13a, it is not about quick creative projects, but about taking the time to immerse yourself in the process and create your own personal works. You will be introduced to different techniques and principles of composition, with plenty of space to experiment and explore your own expression.
No previous experience is required - only a desire to create with your hands. Individual guidance is an important part of every workshop.
Together, we have created a unique art and craftsmanship journey to Rajasthan, where you will have the opportunity to combine creative exploration with visits to local workshops and women’s cooperatives, while experiencing the beauty of India.

Itinerary
Departure from Copenhagen – Day 1
We travel from Copenhagen to Delhi and begin our journey towards Rajasthan.
Agra & the Taj Mahal – Day 2
In Agra, we will experience the Taj Mahal, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. I have included the Taj Mahal because it is such a special place to visit. Our local guide in Agra has many years of experience in cultural interpretation, and through his stories we will not only see the monuments, but also gain a sense of the city’s history.
Sunrise & onwards to Jaipur – Day 3
After watching the sun rise over the Taj Mahal, we continue towards Jaipur, also known as the Pink City. Along the way, we visit Chand Baori, one of Rajasthan’s most impressive stepwells. We arrive in Jaipur in the afternoon and begin with a delicious lunch before exploring some of the city’s best shops. We stay in a restored haveli, a small family-run hotel with a beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking the rooftops and temples of the Pink City.
The Paper Factory – Day 4
In the morning, we visit a small family-run paper factory that produces the finest handmade paper from cotton remnants. We follow the entire production process and see how the paper is formed in frames, pressed and laid out to dry, just as it has been for generations. Later, we select our own paper for various projects during the journey. After a delicious lunch at one of our favourite places, we begin our first projects together. Later in the afternoon, we visit the area around Narain Niwas Palace.
Jaipur Awakens – Day 5
We experience Jaipur with the women of the Pink City Rickshaw Company, which employs female rickshaw drivers from low-income families. We visit the city’s flower market and experience the morning aarti at the Govind Dev Ji Temple. Later, we visit the City Palace, which still serves as the official residence of Jaipur’s royal family. After lunch at the wonderful The Johri, we visit Nila House, which focuses on traditional craft techniques, cultural heritage and sustainable production.
The Fort on Foot – Day 6
We visit the small and charming Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing, located in a beautifully restored haveli. We then walk through Amer and hear stories about life in and around the breathtaking Amber Fort, where sandstone walls, mirrored halls and views across the lake create an almost magical setting. We have lunch in the beautiful oasis of Samode Haveli. In the afternoon, we visit Chameli Market, historically known as one of Jaipur’s oldest centres for gemstones and silver jewellery.
Onwards to Chandelao – Day 7
Today, we travel to Chandelao, a small village outside Jodhpur, the Blue City. It is an authentic village known for offering visitors a rare and undisturbed insight into traditional rural life in India. We stay at Chandelao Garh, a small historic fort that is still owned by Praduman Singh’s family. It has been carefully restored and now serves as a small, atmospheric hotel in the heart of the village. After a sunset walk through the village we enjoy dinner beneath the beautiful starry sky in Chandelao.
Dabu & Sunder Rang – Day 8
The day begins with a beautiful morning walk through Chandelao, with cows in the streets and women dressed in colourful saris. After breakfast, we experience the traditional dabu technique. Dabu is a mud-resist printing technique using natural plant dyes. In the afternoon, we visit the Sunder Rang Arts and Crafts Centre. Sunder Rang is a very special place for Take Time to Care. We have been visiting the women for the past ten years and have worked on many small projects together. We are always given a warm welcome, and the visit offers a meaningful insight into how craftsmanship can create professional pride, community and new opportunities in a village such as Chandelao.
The Blue City – Day 9
We walk through Jodhpur’s Old City, where narrow streets, blue houses and small temples form a sea of blue beneath the mighty Mehrangarh Fort. We explore the bazaar around the Clock Tower before continuing up to the fort, which offers beautiful views across Jodhpur and the dry desert landscape surrounding the city. Jodhpur has a very special atmosphere. It is more raw than Jaipur, but also incredibly beautiful and magical, with its blue façades and old houses clustered beneath the walls of the fort. We also visit some of our favourite small places and take photographs in all shades of blue before returning to Chandelao in the evening.
Chandelao – Day 10
We visit some of the many different projects in the village, including its tree-planting project. We also visit the local potter and Rao Jodha Desert Park.
Farewell – Day 11
The rhythm of life in Chandelao soon begins to feel familiar, with village life and its small everyday moments. There is time to say a proper goodbye – or perhaps see you again – to the women at the crafts centre and to the warm hospitality we always encounter in Chandelao. Later in the afternoon, we fly to Delhi, where we stay at a hotel in Aerocity, close to the airport. There will be an opportunity for some final shopping at Landmark, if there is still room in your suitcase.
Returning Home – Day 12
We pack our full suitcases and take a morning flight to Copenhagen, arriving at Copenhagen Airport in the late afternoon.

sofie beck
Sofie is the founder of Take Time to Care. She has created a travel community through which she shares the meaningful and long-standing relationships she has built over the years with local workshops, women’s cooperatives and knowledgeable guides.
Sofie trained as a lawyer and also works as a consultant for the World Bank. She has lived in London, Singapore and Hong Kong and has always travelled extensively. She has a strong interest in women’s rights and social enterprises and is also a mentor in a programme for African women entrepreneurs.
Ane Bernhoft
Ane works primarily with drawing and printmaking. She is particularly known for her striking large-format cyanotype prints, in which deep blue tones and poetic motifs inspired by nature come together in a distinctive aesthetic.
Alongside her work as an artist, Ane has many years of experience in art education and teaching. She has taught at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and Øregaard Museum and, for the past few years, at the contemporary art museum Gammelgaard.
Pernille Enoch
Pernille trained as a photographer in 2001, but over the past 30 years she has worked with many different art forms, always with photography as a central element.
In recent years, Pernille has primarily worked with collage as an art form: “Through the interplay between the central photographic element, coloured paper and parchment, I create a dialogue between the old and the new, the tangible and the intangible. Contrasts, layers and tactile materials come together to tell a story about TIME – the present, the past and perhaps the future.”
