take time to care

Hello!

You may wonder why I decided to start a travel company, with everything that entails – planning, logistics, sales and administration.

The answer is simple: I could not imagine doing anything else. I love to travel, and I value the meaningful connections that emerge when people share an experience. Bringing the two together felt like a natural next step.

Our Story

I personally feel there is something very special about craftsmanship. It tells us so much about a place, its people and its history. When you travel with me, you join a personal and carefully curated insider journey, shaped by long-standing local relationships with family-run workshops and women’s cooperatives.

I have always been deeply interested in women’s rights and social entrepreneurship, and over the past ten years, I have shared many journeys with groups of women. Along the way, I created Take Time to Care - a travel community that discovers places where proud craft traditions remain deeply woven into both local identity and everyday life.

I trained as a lawyer and spent 15 years living in London, Singapore and Hong Kong, and I have visited a wide range of local initiatives in countries including Cambodia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and India and I also mentor women entrepreneurs through an African leadership programme.

I look forward to sharing these journeys with you and experiencing more of the world together.

Let the journey begin.
